In the quote, Holden repeat the word stick together more than once, trying to eat up out what he is trying to say, showing the importance that all boys stick together like they are gay or something. This passage is important because it shows that Holden is lonesome, he cant fit in with the others and that he doesnt have a specifi c group that he belongs to. Holdens human body is a mark of desperation, for he wishes to reject the entire parliamentary law around him.
